Elisabeth Valerio, president of the newly formed United Zimbabwe Alliance (UZA) was the only female candidate amongst 10 on the presidential ballot paper in Zimbabwe's recent elections. Considering what has been described as Zimbabwe's patriarchal politics, some celebrated her for running. However, a caller on SAfm Radio's Night Talk show hosted by Oliver Dickson mentioned her connection to Former Zimbabwe government Health Minister Obidiah Moyo as factor to why he can't trust her, as she is aligned more to Zanu PF and wouldn't offer anything new.  To this, she responded that she didn’t get to choose her family and she is working to fight against her own family as she does not agree with what they are doing to the country.  On #SAfmNightTalk Oliver Dickson is joined by Founding President of UZA Elisabeth Valerio.
